Abstract

Late-stage enterprises often encounter disruptive challenges due to the emergence of destructive innovation, which necessitates effective management approaches. This research paper aims to explore the management approaches employed by late-stage enterprises in Hebei Province to address destructive innovation. The study will adopt a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys. Late-stage enterprises from different industries in Hebei Province will be selected as participants, and key stakeholders, including top executives, innovation teams, and employees, will be engaged in the research. The qualitative phase will involve in-depth interviews with key stakeholders to explore the management approaches used to deal with destructive innovation. The interviews will focus on topics such as organizational adaptation strategies, innovation culture, technology scouting, and partnerships with startups and research institutions. The quantitative phase will consist of a survey administered to a larger sample of late-stage enterprises in Hebei Province. The survey will measure the prevalence and effectiveness of various management approaches and identify any differences based on factors such as industry, company size, and innovation capability. Data analysis will involve thematic analysis for the qualitative data, identifying common patterns and themes related to management approaches. The quantitative data will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics to examine the prevalence and impact of different management approaches. The findings will provide insights into the management approaches adopted by late-stage enterprises in Hebei Province to address destructive innovation. The research outcomes can inform policymakers, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs in Hebei Province about effective strategies for managing disruptive challenges and fostering innovation in late-stage enterprises.
