Abstract

This studymakes an effort to pinpoint the factors that affect married women's decisions about employment. We discovered that factors such as the respondent's education, the number of children and dependents, the size of the family, the husband's income, the monthly costs of the household, the spouse and family's attitude toward the employee's employment, and job satisfaction all have a positive impact on married women's participation in the labour market. A married woman's desire to work is negatively impacted by her age, living with her husband, relationship with her spouse before marriage, contentment with her current role as a housewife, employment expectations from family, and other family earners.Married women's involvement in the labour force is significantly impacted by the rate of inflation in a nation's economy.
